Your private room has a large private bathroom with a stunning balcony that has a gorgeous overlook. Our touring party will have plenty of opportunities to enjoy the many amenities the cabin offers including a large game room with pool table, foosball table, a large modern kitchen, and a great Tv room for movies and DVDs.

Great Diamond Dining Experiences
We promise to feed you…most of the time. Black Diamond has made arrangements for our tour party to eat at some of the best-of-the-best area restaurants as well some that are very unique. We will stock the cabin kitchen with plenty of snacks and drinks for the week so you can raid the fridge as needed, help your self! Several times during the week the Captain likes to cater in a breakfast so you get off to a good start. Of course we have many other options if you don’t like what is offered. So again, help your self! We will make provisions for vegetarians at the cabin as well as at the restaurants we will be dining in. We do need to know if you have a particular eating preference ahead of time. PLEASE SEE OUR CONTACT INFO SHEET!

Diamond Activities Scheduled & other Options
During the May tour, Black Diamond will schedule the daily rides to end up back at the lodge between 3-6 PM. This gives you several options each day about staying with the group, relaxing and exploring with others or spending time alone. We’ll make plans each day and your always welcome and invited to join us.

At the end of the days ride there will be a schedule of dinners and leisure activities that in some cases are included in the tour price such as :

BBQ cookout at our Cabin
DINNER OVER GATLINBURG--Dinner and ride to Ober Gatlinburg
SUNSET RIDE NIGHT--Dinner & Shopping & Walking & Movie & Ride
HORSEBACK RIDING -Enjoy the Mountains on Horseback
WHITEWATER RAFTING - Experience the thrill and adventure of rapids
FLY FISHING - Hiking along a rushing stream, show us the one that didnt get away!

Free Time
Our only concern is that your trip with us is everything you want it to be. Some people come to live it up and enjoy the ride while others come to enjoy the ride and relax. With our style of travel you can do either one…or both. Relax when you want, ride when you want (with or without the group). We’ll help you with directions, maps and suggestion for alternate plans if you like.

Notes about the Dragon

You will scrape your foot pegs in some of these wild curves, we warn you not to sightsee. To some riders the Dragon begins on the North Carolina side at the Fugitive Bridge where theres a nice view of the Cheoha Dam. This is where Harrison Ford jumped in the movie The Fugitive. It then ends 14 miles across the mountain at the Tabcat Creek Bridge in Tennessee. US129 climbs through The Slide, a steep series of "S" curves where one does not want to meet a tractor-trailer. The road will then level and straighten until a series of curves approaches the Crossroads of Time, one of the main hangouts for cyclists. Next, will come Deals Gap and the Tennessee State Line sections, my favorite parts of the road.. We will leave the rest of it for you to describe to others, after you ride it. Many just remember curve after curve and surviving the run of their lives.
